If you haven’t checked out The Bronx Goblin I strongly suggest you do. The guy brings the funniest s*** this side of the interwebs.
His latest sounds eerily familiar to a conversation me & my man Dj Joe Stick had just the other night:
Andy Pettitte pitched 7+ shutout innings last night allowing only 2 hits and striking out 10 as the Yankees beat the Rays 7-0. Since returning to the Yankees, Pettitte has gone 3-2 with a 2.78 ERA.
Some wonder if he has discovered the legendary fountain of youth.
“No doubt in hell.” Said Brooks Beenaker, a man who knows a thing or two about fountains. “I been making my living 27 years now scarping change out the bottom of fountains. Built me a device that scoops up pennies. Whattya think about that?”
Pettitte looked like the pitcher he was 10 years ago in last night’s dominating performance.
“I seen every kind a fountain ever built.” Beenaker continued. “That guy must have found the fountain of youth. If they’s change in it, giviee it to me!”
Bronx Goblin has also learned that former Yankee Andy Hawkins may also be planning a comeback.
